FAQ

Sustainability is really important to us. We have made an effort to source all materials for pattern & patch products — all the way from earring wires, to printed paper, to clay — from suppliers in Australia, wherever possible, to reduce carbon emissions produced in transporting goods.
Our display cards for earrings are made with FSC certified, 100% recycled paper.
Our packaging boxes and bags are made of recycled materials, and many of the postage bags (including the labels!) are recyclable too. Check the bags for specific instructions.
For fragile items, we mostly use hex-wrap instead of bubble wrap. On the rare occasion that you do receive a product that has been posted with bubble wrap, it’s second hand: we only ever re-use bubble wrap we’ve acquired from purchasing goods for the store.
We encourage re-use or recycling of all the display and packaging products you receive.

We’re a very small team - you can be sure we’re working hard behind the scenes to update the shop. To be the first to know when new items are listed, subscribe for updates via instagram.
If you live in Sydney, NSW, you might be able to pick up pattern & patch goods at one of our brick & mortar stockists. Check out the stockists page here.

Yes! If you’ve seen something online in the gallery or on the shop, but it’s not available to be purchased, and you LOVE it… feel free to get in touch. In most cases, we can organise something :)
But please do keep in mind:
As a small, handmade business, there can be long lead times to produce custom products (think around 8 weeks, not including postage). Some pieces need to go through the kilns 3 times in order to be finished. We use local kilns to fire our goods, along with many of our friends in the community — and leadtime for goods to be fired can vary.
Please expect some variations from what you saw in the photos. Particularly with patterned pieces, no two pieces are ever quite the same, and we can’t promise that the final product will be exactly the same as the one you’ve seen online.
