oh hello

Oh friends, I’m so excited to share this with you.

For the last few years, Pattern & Patch has been a seasonal project of creativity. It’s been all about learning how to make all sorts of stuff by hand: pottery/plates/potplants/earrings/necklaces/patterns/pickles/photographs/risographs. I’ve had few market stalls, and met some lovely people.

For the rest of 2018, Pattern & Patch is more of a travelling circus — a circus of mishaps, as I take a series of one-way tickets and a handful of inky pens around the world. I’ll be making bits and pieces, while sharing photography, drafting new things and inspirations here in the journal.

In 2019, it’ll become an online shop for the handmade goodies. I’m not quite sure when in 2019 that will happen — it’ll take until I’ve got my grounding, somewhere or other — but I’m so excited for it. The best bit of making things is where I get to share it with other craft-lovers at a market or give it as a gift, and I’m excited to be able to make that possible for others too.
