As far as years go, this was a big one. Here’s a little round up of some of the best bits…
1. The Toronto pottery studio: learning to make new things, and lots of them. Working more with porcelain. Perfecting earrings that are beautiful, smooth, light and intricately patterned. And making spoons!
2. The market stall on the first day of Canadian summer. Probably one of the happiest days of my life. Friends from near & far came to say hi, and the people you meet on a market stall are some of the very best. I sold a bunch of risograph cards for the first time, and little patterned planters.
3. My very own creative space, home in Sydney. It’s still in the works but just so excited about it. I’ve got one wall covered with inspiration, another covered with photos of the ocean, and all my pottery in between. I’m sharing with about 8 other creative folks who are endlessly inspiring… and the backyard is brilliant.
